With Stage 2 underway, we’ve seen quite a few differences in team composition in Overwatch League. We highlight a few players for weekly fantasy play in week 2 of Stage 2.

Support Spotlight: JJoNak

JJoNak has performed consistently as one of the best, if not the best, support Zenyatta in all of Overwatch League. Coming off a disappointing performance versus the London Spitfire last week, I believe he is an extremely solid bounce-back candidate. With a recent rating of 1214, he is in the top 25% of the league. With a fantasy weekly performance commonly hinging on a great performance from your support slots, JJoNak is an extremely solid anchor to rely on.

DPS Spotlight: Agilities

With the LA Valient set to square off with Dallas Fuel and SF Shock this week, Agilities will be looking to continue some success found in Stage 1. Interestingly, LA Valient have gone the entire month of February (including games in Stage 1 and Stage 2) with a game always ending in one team completely shutting out the other. It’s a trend I don’t believe will hold. With a resurgent Dallas Fuel looking to make noise in the second Stage, and a SF Shock team that is no pushover either, LA Valient should have close matches and I believe a good chance to at least see one of their games head to a 5th deciding map. Of course, this also means more playing time. Agilities has performed very well lately including versus a tough Seoul team Valient struggled with. He should be a solid DPS pick in week 2.

Tank Spotlight: Muma

Muma, oh Muma. Skyrocketing in popularity on the fan favorite Houston Outlaws, Muma put up a brilliant performance last week versus a tough Boston Uprising team. Muma had a rating of 1344, rattling off 41 kills. Facing off this week with NYXL and Fusion, Houston has a large test ahead of them. Despite a rough performance versus London at the end of Stage 1, I feel Muma is poised to step up his play in this week’s matches as he did versus Boston. As teams gain more comfort on the changes in play during Stage 2, he is a main tank core to his team’s success. Absolutely, a solid tank play.
